INDEPENDENT LIVING

for adults with intellectual disabilities

What happens to my loved one when I'm gone? Almost every family or caregiver of adults with intellectual and related disabilities asks this difficult question. With the right support in place, many of these adults are ready to live on their own right now. The Norman area doesn't have a place like that yet. We're going to build one.

Connection. Collaboration. Community.

The foundation of Autonomous Inclusive Communities is our partner community, adults with intellectual and related disabilities.
The pillars are our programs.
The bricks are the volunteers, donors, and the trained professionals we work alongside.

We need all three. Come build with us!

AIC will focus on the day-to-day lives of adults: jobs, health, getting around town, and more.

AIC will build a neighborhood where people know each other, look out for each other, and grow together.

We can't do this alone. Volunteer, partner with us, or give.

We're Autonomous Inclusive Communities (AIC). Autonomous reflects the core goal, independence. Inclusive reflects who we serve and how we will operate. Communities are what we're creating.

AIC is building on three levels: programs, community, and ultimately the literal buildings of a residential neighborhood.
